Gerry Coleman, fundraising officer for Áthas, Loughrea Outreach Group and a close friend of his, John Donnelly, helped to raise funds for Áthas over the last 2 years by organising quiz nights and running a 25 card drive. John is a director of Cancer Care West and was recently nominated as Rehab Galway Person of the Year for his fundraising efforts throughout the years. In return for John’s help, Gerry sponsored a team to play in the Cancer Care West Golf Classic at Curra West Golf Club.
