Grand Slam Signed Jersey Auction for CCPI Galway

Thursday, 9th April 2009

The Galway Outreach Group of Volunteers, Camp Claddagh, is planning to bring 30 children into Galway for the month of July and to help them raise funds they are auctioning a signed Grand Slam Jersey. The Jersey is signed by the entire Irish Squad that recently won the Grand Slam for the first time in sixty one years. It was signed after the recent win over England. "It's a unique item of memorabilia, but the funds raised from the sale will also be used for something unique," said Fiona Conneely, Group Leader of Camp Claddagh. To place your bid click here now

Each year Camp Claddagh brings Children to Ireland for a much needed holiday. The children travel from Belarus and from mainly contaminated zones. The month here has been proven to add up to two years life expectancy for a child.
