Adi Roche opens Art Exhibition at Jennings Gallery UCC

Adi Roche, CEO, CCPI, officially opened a very special art exhibition, INTERSECTION, at the The Jennings Gallery University College Cork. The exhibition consists of work from five artists from Mayfield Arts, Newbury House CÚIG Programme. The artists Ailbhe Barret, Angela Burchille, Franky Burton, Brid Heffernan & Stephen Murray displayed fantastic artwork and the event was a great success. The exhibition was hosted by The Jennings Gallery UCC in association with the Disability Support Services UCC.
Child Cardiac Surgeries take place in Kharkiv & Odessa

Under the guidance of Dr Bill Novick and his expert volunteer surgical team, another successful cardiac mission took place in Kharkiv & Odessa saving the lives of children who were in urgent need of life-saving cardiac surgery. Without key donors and support from the public these children would not survive beyond 3 to 5 years. Read more
Cyclists pedal from Prague to Düsseldorf for CCPI
Peter McEntee, Andy Carr and Stephen Bray undertook the incredible challenge of cycling 1000km from Prague to Düsseldorf as part of the Global Biking Initiative organised by Vodafone Germany. A group of 300 cyclists comprised of Vodafone employees from all around the globe took part in this exciting event. Peter, Andy and Stephen raised €6,300 for CCPI with the support of their friends, family and the Vodafone Ireland Foundation. CCPI would like to thank Peter, Andy and Stephen and all those who supported this tremendous initiative for their kindness and generosity.
Hundreds of Cyclists Saddle up for the Annual “Pfizer Cycle for Chernobyl”

The 8th Annual “Pfizer Cycle for Chernobyl” kicked off this morning from Cork’s City Hall. 330 amateur cyclists will make their way to Galway from Cork over the next two days in an effort to raise funds for the Chernobyl Children’s Project International (CCPI). 30 children from Chernobyl, along with CCPI CEO, Adi Roche and Cork Lord Mayor, Dara Murphy, were there to see the cyclists on their way.
North Dublin Outreach Group benefit from Alternative Rose Fundraiser

The North Dublin Outreach Group recently raised a grand total of €17,400 through two very successful fundraising events. "The Alternative Rose of Fingal Competition" and "The Biggest Loser Competition" were run in conjunction with a local fundraising team known as the Dirty Dozen and the funds raised were split between the North Dublin Outreach Group and the Wild Geese GAA Club.
