The 'Sponsored Spin for Chernobyl' is being held on Saturday 20th June 2009 to raise funds for Chernobyl Children’s Project International (CCPI). The Cycle, which starts in Athy, Co. Kildare, is a 40km fun cycle for all the family and promises to be an enjoyable day out! There will be a special prize for the sponsored cyclist who raises the most money. Organisers, Mary and Ciara have worked out a great rate for cyclists with The Carlton Abbey Hotel for the night - the hotel has been booked out for the Sponsored Spin event at a special rate of €45 per person sharing, B&B.
