Mobile Hospice Programme
This programme currently enables children to stay at home and be visited and supervised by a palliative care team which comprises of a doctor, nurse, social worker or psychologist. Home hospice care enables a child to receive all the professional and moral support available while staying at home with their family. The patients of the Mobile Hospice Programme receive medical, social, psychological and moral support.
The main goal of the General Hospice Programme is to improve the quality of life in the last period of illness so that the child can have a full worthy life, without pain and suffering as long as possible. Palliative home care includes control and prevention of pain, bedsores therapy, massage and education of parents about how to care for their children. CCPI provide all medicaments for the children free of charge.
