CCI’s Monthly Medical Trips
Each month, Chernobyl Children International send a multi-disciplinary team to Vesnova Children’s Institution. They help to feed, bathe, educate and entertain these capable youngsters. They also provide them with some much needed attention and supplies.
CCI’s Voluntary CEO Adi Roche says that, “Children from the Chernobyl areas face very real hardship. Many live with mental and physical disabilities and deformities due to Chernobyl-related illnesses. Others live in impoverished, derelict areas and they have no one to turn to for help. CCI’s mission is to restore hope, alleviate suffering and protect current and future generations in the Chernobyl regions. We are offering each other ‘hope to live’, encouraging each other not to give up. Companies like Teleflex help us to make this possible. Partnering with Teleflex
Teleflex staff members have been busy fundraising on behalf of CCI in recent weeks. They have taken part in 5K runs, tasty bake sales, raffles and more. To date, CCI has been able to reach hundreds of thousands of children, and improve their lives immeasurably. We have delivered over €107m worth of aid to those who need it most. The scale of what can be accomplished collectively is truly miraculous. We are looking forward to partnering with Teleflex and wish them a happy and rewarding time during their stay at Vesnova!
